12 teams of 3 riders 1 pro snowboarder, 1 pro skier and one local up and commer will go head to head in a knock out comp. S+S will be giving out prizes to the top 3 teams.

Hi everyone,

BIG NEWS for Swiss and Swallow!

We are proud to announce that we will be sponsoring Aston Hill mountain bike area.

Sunday the 15^th of March sees the first downhill race of the year at Aston Hill. It will be taking place on the Swiss and Swallow Black run!

And from now on the Black run will be permanently called the Swiss and Swallow Black Run.

We will be there on the day not only presenting prizes in all categories but we’ll have our stand there with our full range for you to see and buy. We’ll also be giving away some great goodies too.

This event signals the beginning of what we hope will be a long and successful partnership with Aston Hill.

We will be announcing a number of other events at Aston Hill throughout the year and some other big news soon! So stay tuned and watch this space.

For those requiring some additional guidance here are directions from the M25. If you can’ find the the M25 we can’t help you!!!

From the M25 take the A41 towards Aylesbury. Passing junctions for Hemel Hempstead, Berkhamsted (Bourne End), Chesham (Berkhamsted) and Northchurch (Tring). The next junction takes you off to join the B488 for Dunstable and the "old A41" for Aston Clinton and Aylesbury.

After leaving the slip road continue straight on across the roundabout. You will pass "The Crows Nest" on your right. After about 500 metres there is a junction to your left (B4009) to Wendover. Take this road and continue for another 1/2 mile up through fields.

You will then see sign posts for a junction to the left directing you to Aston Hill, Go Ape and Wendover Woods. Take this junction and continue up the hill. Pass the entrance to Wendover woods on your right and the entrance to a golf course on your left. After another gradient increase  hill and 300 metres you should be at the top of the hill.

Aston Hill car park is on the left hand side.

Sweet! This is our first exposure in a mag and where better to start there here! We have to thank all the gang at Dirt moutainbike magazine for getting on board with us! hopefully there will be many more articles and adds to come!

Swiss and Swallow Heads To London FSO4 Freeze 2008

Hi guys,

Just wanted to tell you all that we’ve teamed up with the organizers of FSO4 Freeze at Battersea Power Station to bring you the London round of the FIS air and style comp this month. 23rd - 26th October.

What it is?

FS04 Freeze Sponsored by LG is rolling into London this October and brings with it the biggest winter sports and music festival ever seen on these shores - This is the real winter warmer!

The LG London Big Air is part of the FIS (Federation International de Ski) World Cup. The World Cup is very important, as it is the only way snowboarders can qualify for the Olympics. Get it! Next Olympics are Vancouver 2010, which makes this an important event which then means that Olympic hopefuls (the best) will be coming to ride!

How it works:

The format will consist of 3 jumps each, man on man heats with the best trick, based on skill and style, winning through to the next round until the final.

The Soundtrack

There will also be live music in the shape of a 10,000 capacity live music arena to liven up your nights at the Battersea Power Station with music from The Cuban Brothers, The Enemy, Cypress Hill and Annie Mac- and those are just the headliners!

It will be a great day/night out.

You could also win limited edition 'London Freeze' Swiss+Swallow clobber with various comps throughout the event.

So please come on down sit on our handcrafted snowboard benches and watch the worlds best big air boarders and skiers battle it out to a great sound track.
